We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager to join a dedicated team focusing on the Target Operating Model (TOM), to establish and maintain close links to the TOM Transformation program leads and ensure that they act in a consistent manner with the overall objectives of the Global TOM programme. You will work closely with the business to support leaders to focus their activities on what will drive individual change and achieve organizational results.

You will support the Senior Global Change Manager in developing change and transition plans and help deliver and embed change globally for the TOM. Understand the scope and activities to transfer and apply the transition governance framework.

This is a London based role, in a hybrid working model (2 days in the office).

You will need to be highly skilled in Organisational Change Management and work closely with the business to identify required changes, the nature and level of change impact on the business and its people.

Build effective relationships with our shared service centre, Business Services Organization (BSO), to support the transition planning of any activities transitioned into the service centers. Strong stakeholder management skills are key to effectively managing the transition relationship between the BSO and the business functions.

Work with HR leads to assess the people impacts and build people transition plans. Establish a good network to other transition teams to ensure good practice sharing. Ensure the transition methodology is appropriate for successful transitions, including compliance with contractual obligations and local works council requirements.

Vision and Direction

Provide support that helps others ensure a defined and agreed vision, a clear picture of the future state, a fit-for-purpose TOM and that the changing environment is understood. Educate key stakeholders on the value of change management. Ensure that the required costs and benefits are evaluated, the investment for change is secured, and effective change leadership is in place.

Design (Shape)

Support activity analysis and discovery & design sessions to understand the people & process change impacts. Design and plan the change management (CM) interventions required to embed the change successfully. Lead the people/process change impact assessments, stakeholder management and communications planning. Help the business to develop an understanding of what CM interventions may be required.

Planning and Risk Management

In line with the program, plan change/transition interventions and ramp up for delivery of the change, ensuring benefits and people focus throughout. Monitor the progress of key plans against success criteria. Plans will include change management, transition wave plans, knowledge transfer, engagement and communications and training plans. Lead and manage stakeholder engagement and communications, mobilize change networks if applicable. Help to keep activities on track and maintain alignment with the business case.

Implementation

Support the business to be ready to accept the change, utilize new capability, and ensure the successful delivery and embedding of this change into the business. Own stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives and identify and manage resistance to change. Help develop and deliver relevant transition & knowledge transfer (KT) plans, KT assessments, processes, and materials to enable the change. The Change Manager will support the KT period & determine how the best way to measure the success of the KT sessions and work together and support the program lead/program team to put in place the desired outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of program transformation, transition change management and understands how to leverage critical senior stakeholders to implement changes across large complex global projects. Requires knowledge of financial terms and concepts and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex transactions. You will have experience designing and developing change management interventions in complex situations.

Education and Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of experience

Relevant qualification, e.g., ONE of Change Management Institute ACMF (Accredited Change Manager Foundation); APMG - Change Management; Prosci or equivalent

Other Skills and Abilities

Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Smartsheets and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
