Role Summary: Jo Malone London has an opportunity within the Global Communications department for a Manager position, reporting to the Global Communications Director. This role is based at the Global Townhouse in Marylebone.


The Global Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in the creation of the global communications strategy, and events across regions, building brand awareness and positioning. This role requires a strategic thinker and a proactive team player who delivers work to an exceptionally high standard.


The role will focus on increasing Earned Media Value (EMV) through global consumer campaigns for the Fragrance and Gifting categories, working strategically with our markets and regions to maintain the brand's profile as a leading British fragrance and lifestyle house. Additionally, the role will support the Communications Director on corporate issues management, and activation of the Jo Malone London social impact strategy.

Role Responsibilities

Consumer Campaigns

Supporting the development and execution of the Fragrance & Gifting Communications strategy to support brand growth and reinforce positioning Support the Global Comms director with providing strategic counsel to regional and market teams to ensure successful local execution of global communications strategies Input into comprehensive GTM (Go-To-Market) decks and communication guidelines for Global Communications strategy Maintain and share back to the wider team a deep understanding of global campaigns, product launches, and marketing activations Foster strong collaborative relationships with all global departments, ensuring seamless communication - marketing, creative, legal, corporate and procurement teams Support the Global Communications budget, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in resource allocation Work closely with the Global Communications Director to review regional PR reports to identify key successes, areas for improvement, learnings, and the overall impact of key campaigns Support the execution of high-impact global events, including press, influencer, and brand activations that elevate the brand's profile Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver seamless activations in global, regional, and local markets

Creator Content Management

Supporting the development and execution of the global content creator strategy that aligns with Jo Malone London's brand values, brand aesthetic and business objectives across all product categories Identifying and engaging with content creators and influencers who can authentically represent Jo Malone London to develop dynamic content that resonates with our target audience and enhances brand visibility Overseeing the entire creative process, from initial concept to production to final delivery, ensuring high-quality and brand-consistent output as well as managing stakeholder approval processes Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure smooth execution of content projects Analysing and monitoring performance of content campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Communications/ Influencer Marketing role, preferably within the beauty, lifestyle, or luxury industry Experience in global or regional roles is highly desirable, either agency side or in-house Creative and innovative thinker with a keen eye for detail, ability to generate fresh ideas that resonate with the target audience and enhance brand visibility Have a strong understanding of the whole beauty (luxury, prestige and mass), home and lifestyle industry, current trends, and knowledge of pop culture Proven track record of overseeing content creation projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives Be a multi- faceted communications professional that possesses a strategic and creative mind Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus Ability to analyze the performance of content campaigns using various metrics and tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement * Ability to adapt to changing market trends and consumer preferences, staying ahead of industry developments and incorporating them into the communications strategy
