Global Head of IRRBB Transformation and Future State Architecture Delivery Lead

Global Treasury manage treasury risks and stress testing for HSBC. We are the first line of defence for Capital, Liquidity, IRRBB, Funding, Structural and Transactional FX, Recovery and Resolution risks. Simply put, we protect, optimise and enhance HSBC's financial strength and resources:



We PROTECT HSBC's financial resources including Capital, Funding, Liquidity and Balance Sheet, and ensure our continued resolvability. We OPTIMISE HSBC's financial resources; and We ENHANCE HSBC's financial returns.


Treasury Value Stream (TVS) has been established to drive coherent transformation investment decisions across the Global Treasury organisation. Its scope covers the following sub-value streams: Capital Management, Interest Rate Risk Management & Reporting, Liquidity Management & Reporting, Recovery & Resolution, and Stress Testing.

In this role, you will:





Direct the end-to-end delivery of all Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) initiatives, as well as being responsible for delivery of the defined Future State Architecture within TVS scope. Support the Global Treasury Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) team, by managing the end-to end programme delivery for IRRBB. Engaging with senior stakeholders and continuing programme delivery to develop and achieve key outcomes and associated benefits. Combine subject matter expertise in IRRBB and Market Risk topics together with excellent experience and understanding of structuring and managing significant business and technological change programmes to meet business objectives. Collaborate with IRRBB and wider Treasury management at various levels to translate business objectives into delivery across a multi-stranded programme encompassing strategic platform design and delivery, modelling, measurement & reporting, booking models, transfer pricing and hedging optimisation, both establishing and operating under appropriate transformation and BAU governance oversight. Build out the programme delivery team in key areas as the programme ramps up further into strategic delivery in with a particular focus on strategic architecture design and delivery. Collaborate and engage with other key treasury and partner functions across Finance, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Product Control as well as collaborate on common objectives with Liquidity, Capital and FRM functional areas within Treasury where appropriate. Navigate workstream programme and project managers in delivery against objectives for all pillars within the programme.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements

:



Demonstrable experience of working within a large Bank. Thorough understanding of Treasury or Markets Treasury or ALCM business, with ability to translate complex concepts into programme artefacts. Understanding of systems and data architecture in Treasury, Risk or Finance environments. Demonstrable Project Experience (transformation and change) across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements, with experience of Finance or Risk systems and processes. Experience in managing large, complex programmes or a portfolio of projects is essential. Demonstrable experience with motivating, engaging and managing a large team. Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the numbers, policy and narrative to life (e.g., presenting to a wide range of stakeholders/ senior management). Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority, businesses, and geographies).


The base location for this role will be

London

and with a hybrid working pattern.
