Amazon Music is looking for a Global Head of Portfolio Strategy. This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing the Global Content Organisation (GCO)'s Global Content Strategy aligned with business growth and market dynamics. This role will develop the long-term strategy (for example 3 and 5-year plans) and outline new business opportunities GCO should be considering in order to accelerate the organization's impact. This role partners closely across the Amazon Music organization and with other key Amazon businesses in order to define and deliver on GCO's broader business, and force-multiply our impact on Amazon Music growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Devise a global content strategy aligned with business growth and market dynamics
- Help define key KPIs for the global portfolio strategy and regional strategy teams
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure global priorities and strategies are leveraged and adopted
- Work cross-functionally with key partner teams to inform and evolve the global vision
- Drive business and senior leadership reviews of this strategy and align cross-functional teams toward this vision
- Create mechanisms that audit and report results


MBA or Master's Degree in related field Experience leading portfolio planning and global expansion Strong organizational planning and development skills in ambiguous environments Experience conducting business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including an ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems Proven ability to influence others in an organisation
