Job Description

As the Global HR Director, you will act as a strategic partner to the Duke CE CEO and Executive Team, championing a culture that fosters a "best place to work" environment and maximizes employee engagement. You will lead organizational transformation by assessing, developing, and implementing HR strategies and programs that align with business goals and support a future-ready workforce. You will help shape the broader people agenda, ensuring alignment across culture, leadership development, and performance management. With deep expertise in organizational design and development, you will leverage analytics, project management, and communication skills to translate business priorities into impactful HR solutions that enhance organizational capability, culture, and operational effectiveness.

What You'll Do



Culture & Engagement



Design and develop the Duke CE culture programme, including setting norms and behaviours that embody the Duke CE way Drive employee engagement and retention plans, including the assessment, analysis, and facilitation of strategies to address turnover and workforce issues Design the Duke CE Employee Value Proposition and supporting processes to deliver on that promise

Organizational Design & Change Leadership



Guide and direct organizational design, development, and change management solution implementation Act as a catalyst for change, providing leadership in organizational transformation Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and market trends, leveraging insights to recommend and influence new approaches, policies, and procedures Operate as a key business adviser and subject matter expert across Duke CE through business knowledge, relationship management, and proactive interventions

Strategic HR Leadership



Develop and maintain effective business partnerships and serve as a consultant in strategic and tactical HR approaches Provide strategic direction to ensure the effective execution of payroll and benefits administration Partner with Regional Managing Directors and internal resources to execute local HR requirements

Employee Relations



Lead the development and implementation of employee relations strategies, ensuring a fair, inclusive, and legally compliant work environment Provide guidance and support to leaders on complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation

Leadership Coaching & Analytics



Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues, including development and talent performance Develop and use analytics and trend analysis to shape and influence HR strategies that support business objectives

Requirements



What You Bring



Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field Advanced degree and

PHR or SPHR certification

preferred Significant HR leadership experience in global and matrixed environments Expertise in performance management, talent development, and compensation Proven success in leading change and organizational effectiveness initiatives Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for HR reporting and decision-making * Ability to influence and collaborate with executive-level stakeholders
