As part of Jellycat's ambitious growth plans, we are looking to appoint a Logistics Category Manager to work within Jellycat Procurement on optimising and managing our logistics supply base. Jellycat's business thrives on the seamless delivery of our unique and beloved products to customers around the world. This procurement role is pivotal to the business - working with cross fucntional teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. The Logistics Category Manager at Jellycat will enhance our supply chain capabilities and support our global expansion efforts. This role involves running robust tenders, engaging in fact-based negotiations, identifying new suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to maintain the high standards that Jellycat is known for.

You'll be;



An experienced sourcing and category manager with experience in the Logistics category wanting to work in a business that is a creative leader and producer of joyful experiences for customers. Able to work in a team and enjoyment of working towards a collective goal. You will be part of the team that ensure Jellycats warehousing and distribution supply base drives value and service to our customers. Leading the development and execution of robust tenders to ensure the selection of the best suppliers for Jellycat's logistics needs. Engaging in fact-based negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Identifying and evaluating new suppliers to enhance Jellycat's logistics capabilities and support global expansion. Managing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet Jellycat's high standards for quality, reliability, and performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, eComm, IT, and customer service, to ensure the seamless delivery of products. Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics supply base to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identifying and mitigating risks within the logistics supply chain to ensure business continuity and resilience. Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards.

You'll have;



Experience in Logistics and Procurement: Proven experience in sourcing and category management within the logistics sector, with a strong understanding of global logistics supply base, procurement processes and best practices. Expertise in leading and executing robust tenders to select the best suppliers for logistics needs. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage in fact-based negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers. The ability to identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure they meet Jellycat's high standards for quality, reliability, and performance. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, eCommerce, IT, and customer service, to ensure the seamless delivery of products. A demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics supply base to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Knowledge of risk management practices within the logistics supply chain to ensure business continuity and resilience. Skills in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business. Solution-oriented mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
