Plan and coordinate global marine logistics and service operations across major Asian and European ports, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
Oversee supply chain activities, including procurement, spare parts distribution, logistics arrangements, and repair team dispatch.
Liaise with ship owners, suppliers, and shipyards in Asia and Europe to ensure timely delivery of services and compliance with international regulations.
Maintain effective communication between our company in the UK and overseas service points.
Monitor operational performance, reduce costs, and implement efficiency improvements.
Support urgent client projects by mobilising resources quickly and managing emergency responses.
Skill, experience and qualification required
:
Proven 3+ years of business development experience in international trade, travel, or related industries
Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven managerial experience in global shipping, logistics, or port operations.
Strong knowledge of Asian and European port operations and regulations.
Fluency in English and Mandarin to coordinate with the parent company in China and Asian suppliers.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multi-regional teams and resources under time-sensitive conditions.
Ability to manage multi-regional operations and deliver results under pressure.
Willingness to travel abroad frequently to oversee operations and maintain supplier relationships.
