Through our Capital Markets Summer Analyst programme, you will get direct work experience and exposure to the Global Markets business at CIBC. CIBC offers a broad suite of capital markets trading products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients around the world.
As a Global Markets Summer Analyst you will have the opportunity to:Participate in an orientation session to learn more about the bank and our Capital Markets business here in the region. Gain exposure to a specific asset class by working alongside experienced sales and trading professionals Assist in idea generation, financial markets analysis, and risk monitoring Attend and contribute to team meetings

Key Requirements:Student in a finance/quantitative discipline with strong academic results. You are a penultimate or final year (including Masters) student, and on track to achieve a minimum of 2.1 honours degree or equivalent Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills A team player who can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively Fluent in English and the right to work in the UK
