The aim of the global Business Process Optimization team is to optimize the value flow along globally streamlined end-to-end transactional processes. What is the main purpose of this role? The Global Master Data Management (MDM) Expert is instrumental for shaping, enforcing and implementing the MDM part of end to end process flows within Supply Chain. The role includes improving Master Data Management processes, managing the lifecycle of data domains, governance of the Chart of Account data domains, driving data quality and enabling future reporting and data analytics needs. This person is an experienced MDM expert and coach / consultant on Master data management topics. They facilitate the essential sharing of knowledge and best practices across all regions. What are the key responsibilities of this role?

  • Designing and managing all MDM-related subsets of the global end-to-end process model across all Towers (that means OTC, RTR and PTP)
  • Continuously identifying and driving improvement on master data management processes & data quality
  • Driving the dialogue and closely collaboration with all other process tower teams (OTC, RTR and PTP) to integrate these towers with a globally consistent Master Data Management process and data model
  • Driving the dialogue and closely collaboration with country and regional teams (OTC, RTR and PTP) to ensure a consistent use of Master Data
  • Driving the dialogue and closely collaboration with other functions to enable a cross-functional use of master data management
  • Driving development on Master data Management domains in alignment with countries / region and other Supply Chain function
  • Maintaining and updating financial systems and/or master data management systems in line with data owner approval policies.
  • Lead and supports implementation of new projects related to financial systems and/or business intelligence systems.
  • Serves as a liaison between IT and departmental staff regarding required updates/changes in software.
  • Provides support to financial systems users, including delivering training on MDM aspects.
  • Documenting end-to-end processes and guidelines at all levels, including controls and KPIs and making documentation available to intended stakeholders
What experience do we require from you?
  • 1-2 years of previous accounting, finance, or Oracle Financials experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with relational databases and SQL and programming languages (e.g., Java, Visual Basic, PL/SQL)
  • 1-2 years of previous Oracle Financials, Oracle DRM, Oracle FDMEE or other MDM tools experience (e.g. EBX)
  • Experience with business intelligence processes
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software applications
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and project management skills
  • Experience providing ad hoc reporting
