THE ROLE



Global Payroll Implementation Analyst - Aberdeen or London





The Global Payroll Implementation Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful setup and transition of new global and international payrolls. The role focuses on payroll implementation delivery, process documentation, and operational support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to payroll deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end implementation of new global and international payrolls, following defined project plans and timelines Assist with payroll processing during implementation and transition phases, escalating issues to the Payroll Manager or Advisor as required Support day-to-day payroll operations to ensure deadlines are met and employer/employee queries are resolved accurately and efficiently Maintain and update client-specific payroll process manuals and implementation documentation Liaise with global Payroll Partners to gather required data and ensure local compliance requirements are understood Contribute to maintaining a central knowledge library covering payroll processes and legislation in supported countries Assist in testing, parallel runs, and post-implementation reviews for new payrolls Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance payroll delivery Support Advisors with payroll-related queries and issue resolution during implementation phases Keep up to date with payroll legislation changes and flag potential impacts to senior team members

Experience and Skills Required
Previous payroll experience, ideally with exposure to international or global payrolls Experience supporting payroll implementations or transitions Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Experience working with client payroll data and handling confidential information Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones Relevant payroll or accounting qualification (desirable but not essential)
