We are currently looking to recruit a Global Procurement Category Leader - Mobility Services (Fleet & Travel) to be based in Slough as part of the Procurement External Services & Mobility. The Global Procurement Category Leader will be responsible for a spend of approx. 45m Euros and will be growing in the coming years as Ipsen increasing its footprint through external acquisitions.

His / her responsibilities will be to design, build, communicate and support implementation of Category Strategies with close alignment with Travel communities, Global HR and Global General Services organisations in addition to our various procurement Teams at local level to ultimately deliver added value to the business. The Global Procurement Category Leader\'s responsibility will be to contribute to the evaluation of our Travel Solutions (tools, suppliers, process, policies) and Fleet management solutions.

The Global Procurement Category Leader will work very closely with the Global Procurement Events Category Leader and the Global Travel Manager to optimize our overall travel spend across the globe. He/she will contribute to the strategic development of this spend portfolio and will ensure the robust delivery through clear and measurable benefits.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

Category Management

Drive Category Management process for the assigned categories.

Be the Procurement Subject Matter Expert on assigned categories.

Identify and classify new opportunities through best-in-class category management processes with strong alignment with Internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Strategic planning: Develop long term strategic category plans for the assigned categories

Develop best procurement practices and support implementation of these practices across Mobility Services portfolio

Maintain the highest-level code of conduct and ethics.

Ensure that all the key suppliers within the category assigned adhered Ipsen Ethics & Compliance code

Contribute to the development of Procurement objectives, strategy, processes & tools.

Define the Procurement Category strategy

Be responsible for Sourcing Strategies processes already existing or to be defined.

These main activities would include the following but are not limited to:

DESIGN AND BUILD SOURCING STRATEGIES

Understand Company objectives and how they derive into business strategies and priorities

Design and build appropriate category and sourcing strategies with inputs coming from Travel communities, Global HR, Global General Services & local procurement.

Establish Stakeholder Mapping for the assigned categories: Develop and execute a Stakeholder Engagement plan.

Develop a Preferred Supplier List for the assigned categories.

Develop communication package and tools to support implementation of category strategies and plans.

MANAGE CATEGORY

In close alignment with Travel communities, Global HR, Global General Services & local procurement oversees the implementation of category plans acting as a business partner for:

Contract negotiation and contract management

Contract key operational clauses negotiation

Operational Meetings with Key & Strategic suppliers

Efficiency plan implementation

Critical supply issues

Manage or support RFP processes until contract execution to support Business projects

Identify efficiency opportunities across the Category and monitor the implementation to meet the yearly savings targets.

Identify opportunities for Global Master Service Agreements implementation working closely with Business Stakeholders and Legal.

Manage Global agreements design and lead global commercial negotiation.

Proactively assess internal and external process improvement, influence effective change, drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Strategic Supplier Relationship Management

Be an active partner of the SRM processes within Mobility Services already existing or to be defined.

These main activities would include the following but are not limited to:

SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Co build with Mobility services stakeholders the SRM models and strategy

Co lead the SRM activities with Mobility Services Key & Strategic vendors

Build robust partnerships with strategic vendors

Review, improve and run the best vendor governance structure and procedures for assigned categories

Manage and track Supplier performance and innovation with defined KPI across the organization

Assess the relationship through assessment at organization level

Contribute to the development & management of the Procurement community

Be responsible for Category Procurement performance.

Promote, facilitate & support compliance of Category sourcing strategies, processes & tools.

For assigned categories, develop network category Procurement skills through training, knowledge and best practices sharing.

Animate buyers and Procurement Managers community when relevant on category & market updates, best practices and information sharing.

Contribute to develop & implement category-focused communication plan.

Contribute to drive a culture of teamwork and project management good practices.

Knowledge, abilities & experience

Education / Certifications:/Experience:

Bachelor/master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in management with preferably specialization in Procurement.

Demonstrated experience in Procurement in an international environment

Proven success in delivering competitive advantage to the business and in leading projects

Experience in Fleet and Travel categories.

Experience in negotiation in cross functional and cross market teams

Demonstrated successful use of risk management and supplier relationship management

Languages: Language: Fluent in English.

Key Technical Competencies Required

Project Management: Ability to manage projects to ensure successful delivery, to establish clear goals and accountabilities. This includes the ability to develop project plans, prioritize, identify potential issues/risk and develop contingency plans.

Negotiations: Ability to influence and negotiate optimal agreement.

Data Analysis/Interpretation: Ability to convert general data and findings into specific suggestions that add value to the business and the team.

Fully skilled in Procurement strategies, processes, systems & tools.

Knowledge of markets & suppliers for the specific categories of the position

Leadership: Decisive, make timely practical and effective decisions. Takes initiative.

Foster open communications, share information that drive to Procurement community and business to success

Assertive and Persuasive: Demonstrate healthy and productive influencing ability. Gain the respect and confidence of stakeholders. Build constructive and effective relations.
