Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate Golf Coach to join our team at Simz Golf, Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf and a desire to educate aspiring golfers of all skill levels. This role involves developing players' skills, enhancing their understanding of the game, and fostering a love for golf in a supportive environment.

Duties

Conduct individual and group coaching sessions, focusing on skill development and technique improvement. Assess players' abilities and create tailored training programmes to meet their specific needs. Educate players on the rules, etiquette, and strategies of golf to enhance their overall game experience. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help players achieve their goals. Organise and lead practice sessions, drills, and competitive play to encourage teamwork and sportsmanship. Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere that promotes enjoyment of the sport. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop comprehensive training schedules and events.

Skills

Experience playing golf. Knowledge and experience of golf simulators. Strong ability to educate players on techniques, strategies, and the fundamentals of the game. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals of varying skill levels. Patience and adaptability to cater coaching methods to different learning styles. Knowledge of golf equipment. Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, training programmes, and player assessments effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 37.5 per week
