The St Andrews Links are seeking an exceptional PGA Professional for the role of Golf Development Lead. Based at the St Andrews Links Golf Academy, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering on all aspects of our SALJGA junior programme. With a membership of over 400 children and access to world-class courses and facilities, we are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who has the vision to develop the programme and continue to create a benchmark for success within junior golf.
The Golf Development Lead will also be responsible for the implementation and development of access initiatives involving the Golf Academy, in key areas such as disability golf, ladies golf, local community outreach and wider junior golf opportunities. Delivery of coaching to these groups will be an essential element of the role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the Home of Golf and will suit someone who is passionate about working with juniors, developing programmes, and establishing pathways into the game for all.
Essential Requirements
Be a qualified PGA Professional of a minimum of 3 years standing. Have extensive experience working within junior golf and be able to demonstrate programme development within this area. Experience in coaching delivery, specifically to juniors but ideally to a wide range of golfers * To be able to work well within a team environment.
