Barker Ross is currelntly recruiting for Good In Operative for one of our clients based in Northampton. Purpose Of the Role:
The timely and accurate booking in of customer freight and returns.
To support the contract logistics department in achieving accurate booking on of customer freight
and returns.
To support existing Inbound personnel
To support Inventory controller when required.
Key Accountabilities :
Receiving and booking on of customer freight via daily deliveries.
Accurate recording of returns on the Dachser system
To communicate and co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure
that the agreed service levels are met - Goods In, Bookings and queries
To respond promptly and accurately to all enquiries
Manage stock levels in Quarantine Unit Area (QUA)
Occasional loading and unloading on the bay area
Checking goods for damages - record and communicate findings
To discuss any issues or stock queries' with Key account managers
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Highly numerate

Ability to work within a team
Highly adaptable
Computer literate
Experience:
PPT Experience advantageous
Experience of working in a busy environment
Experience of goods in and returns
Working knowledge of Quarantine management
