JOB SUMMARY:
As a Goods in Clerk, you will be expected to take receipt of all deliveries to the site, accurately check and book in deliveries against purchase orders into our CMM system, store stock using the automated robot system, and maintain both physical and digital stock accuracy by checking stock lines daily and investigating discrepancies, and reconciling against the system where required. While ensuring an organised and safe practice by following SOPs, liaise with the procurement team to resolve stock-related queries and communicate with the team in case of discrepancies. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receive deliveries from suppliers and manufacturers and check deliveries for accuracy against paperwork.
2. Query discrepancies and damaged stock with the procurement manager and site manager
3. Securely store stock in the allocated areas, ensuring rotation of stock.
4. Ensure stock is accurately loaded into the robot, ensuring barcodes are added if needed.
5. Enter products onto the Pharmacy computer system.
6. Query computer stock level discrepancies with the site manager, investigate, and reconcile the stock query so the stock system is accurate.
7. File paperwork and ensure the goods in area is kept clear and tidy throughout the day.
8. Remove expired, unwanted, and overstocked medication and inform the procurement manager and site manager
9. To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required
Essential.
Current stock control experience, FIFO, batch control, and use of correct storage conditions. (3 years minimum)
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, Fluent written and spoken English including good numeracy skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisation skills.
Previous experience working with a pharmacy dispensing robot.
Full UK permit to work.
Clean DBS, or able to pass one when required.
Desirable
Experience in handling bulk stock medication.
Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.
Experience in using the pharmacy CMM computer system.
NVQ level 2 Pharmacy dispenser qualification or higher.
