We're looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our operations team on a part-time basis. This is a

, combining hands-on warehouse work with front-line
customer service

Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in construction are beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
Forklift certification is advantageous; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Forklift Duties
Operate a forklift truck (counterbalance or reach) safely and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from vehicles.
Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring high standards.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Order Processing
Receive, inspect, and log incoming stock.
Prepare items for dispatch and ensure all paperwork is correct.
Update inventory records and alert the team of any discrepancies.
Customer Service & Admin
Answer customer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner.
Provide updates on orders, delivery timelines and stock availability.
Raise and send invoices, delivery notes and shipping confirmations.
Liaise with couriers and logistics partners to coordinate deliveries.
What We're Looking For:
Valid forklift license (counterbalance or reach truck essential).
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Comfortable using email and basic computer systems.
Well-organised with good attention to detail.
Friendly, helpful and customer-focused attitude.
Able to work independently and manage tasks within part-time hours.
Desirable:
Experience using order/inventory software.
Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
