Core Purpose

Intake of all raw ingredient and packaging deliveries and manage stocks to meet production requirements

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Day to day purchasing of raw ingredient and packaging:

Daily stock level checks to establish replenishment requirements Raising purchase orders for requirements on SAP Completing required delivery schedules Intake deliveries and complete necessary checks and delivery paperwork Ensuring strict date code rotation is being maintained on all deliveries Goods receipt paperwork and SAP goods receipting All relevant paperwork archiving
Daily inventory control and stock rotation:

Site stock in specific warehouse locations Recording stock locations and quantities Replenish picking stock locations Maintain strict FIFO stock rotation Update all inventory control systems and paperwork Monitor and re-stack all older date ingredients Monitor and replenish cleaning solutions in tray-wash and CIP areas
Manage raw ingredient and packaging stock takes:

Weekly manual stock count Reconcile stock level and usage back to SAP Make system adjustments for any anomalies Involved in all quarter, half and year end stock takes Produce and archive all stock reports on weekly basis
Compliance to departmental and business policies and objectives:

Maintain CAYG and cleaning equipment policy Maintain allergen / sensitive ingredient segregation policy Sample retention on specified product lines Ensure PPE and H & S company policies are adhered to Every member of staff is expected to show respect to their colleagues and understand and adhere to Guenther Bakeries values; they are also expected to support all the teams with which they have contact in achieving Guenther Bakeries objectives Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

Qualifications, skills and experience

Forklift and pedestrian truck licences Working knowledge of SAP Excellent IT / computer literacy skills Excellent numeracy skills Diplomatic and relationship building character Excellent written & verbal communication skills Professional curiosity
