About the Role
We're looking for a diligent
Google Ads Specialist
to join our freelance team. This is not a "setup-and-go" role -- it's about
maintaining and optimising client accounts week in, week out
. You'll manage live campaigns, monitor results, flag issues early, and ensure every account stays on track. You'll also help translate results into clear client insights, contributing to a high-trust, long-term relationship. You will prepare detailed reports logging the changes you've made, to contribute to our in-house AI system.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain 5 to 10 active Google Ads accounts, ensuring ongoing optimisation and budget pacing.
Deliver consistent, high-quality weekly maintenance: adding negatives, testing ads, reviewing conversion performance plus other weekly tasks.
Prepare and send clear weekly and monthly client-facing reports (with input from our templates).
Collaborate with team members to suggest new ideas, flag issues early, and keep strategy documents up to date.
Occasionally join client calls or respond to client queries, supported by the wider team.
Ensure tracking is functioning accurately and proactively escalate issues when needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Must-Have:
1+ years of direct experience in a Google Ads-focused role (agency-side)
Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with clear attention to detail.
Diligent and hard-working
Reporting experience
Current Google Ads Certification (or willing to sit exams)
Fluent in written and spoken English -- clear, professional communication is essential.
Able to attend our team meetings at 3pm UK every Monday
A proactive mindset and ability to take full ownership of weekly responsibilities without reminders.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Asana, Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with Meta Ads / Tik Tok Ads
Familiarity with CRO, SEO, or landing page design.
