We are seeking a results-driven and performance-focused
Google Ads Specialist
to join our growing eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and optimizing campaigns across
Google Ads
primarily, with secondary support for
Facebook (Meta)
, and
TikTok Ads
. Additionally, a strong understanding of how
SEO
works in 2025would be helpful. This role is responsible for driving traffic, improving conversion rates, and increasing ROI through paid media (and organic search) strategies. You will play a key role in executing data-driven campaigns that directly impact growth and revenue.
Based in central Edinburgh, this full-time office role offers a collaborative Mon-Fri environment (9am-5:30pm) where your technical expertise will directly impact our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution:
Independently planning, setting up, and managing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Demand Gen, Pmax, YouTube), Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads), and TikTok Ads, aligned with company objectives and market trends.
Identifying key audiences, keywords, markets:
building the big-picture of what works and what doesn't, then tailoring text, image and video to fit campaigns.
Using AI effectively
: leveraging AI to improve ad effectiveness, by either doing research, refining asset creation, etc.
Campaign Optimisation and Performance Tracking:
Continuously monitoring campaign performance (CPA, ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate, etc.), conducting A/B tests, and optimising ad creatives, audience targeting, and bidding strategies to maximise Return on Investment (ROI).
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Regularly analysing advertising data and website traffic, producing clear performance reports, and providing data-driven, actionable insights and optimisation recommendations to the team.
Budget Management:
Effectively managing advertising budgets to ensure marketing objectives are met within allocated spend.
Market Insights and Collaboration:
Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital advertising and SEO, and collaborating closely with content, design, and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
SEO Strategy Implementation:
Executing comprehensive SEO strategies, including keyword research, AI content creation, content optimisation, technical SEO audits, and off-page link building, to enhance website visibility and organic traffic in search engines.
Essential Requirements
Core Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, and TikTok Ads platforms, with a proven track record and ability to provide successful case studies.
SEO Skills:
Strong understanding and practical experience in SEO, proficient with leading SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
Data Analysis Skills:
Proficient in Google Analytics, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Language Proficiency:
Excellent command of English (both written and verbal), essential for this UK-based role.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, proactive and self-driven, strong time management and organisational skills, and a collaborative team player.
