The Role:
Are you passionate about protecting data, managing risk, and ensuring organisations meet the highest standards of security and compliance? Oxfam GB is looking for a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Lead to take the reins of our Information Security governance efforts.
In this critical role, you'll lead and evolve our GRC functions--ensuring we meet internal, regulatory, and donor-driven security obligations. But more than that, you'll be a strategic influencer, embedding a culture of security awareness, accountability, and resilience across all teams and partners.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

• Strong Influencing skills
• Highly self-motivated with a bias for action in ambiguous environments.
• Able to work independently while also fostering shared accountability and operating to tight timescales in pressured environments
• Strong ethical compass and commitment to integrity in oversight roles.
• Proven experience in a senior GRC or information security leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, CIS Controls, ISO27001).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage upwards.
• Demonstrable Audit and policy management experience, including stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially under pressure.
• Strong understanding of vendor risk and third-party assurance models.
