What you will be doing
To respond to and create high value PSE opportunities and take full ownership of driving the sales engagement. Interact with other departments within Ricoh to support the success including the Sales Regions, SME's and Bid Team. Engage existing and new clients to help influence and increase Ricoh's success into these accounts and develop new cyber lines of business opportunities within the Ricoh PSE customer base.
To be responsible for ensuring all business wins are contracted to a high standard and proactively to maximise Ricoh's opportunity of securing future business and in addition take ownership of the end to end contract cycle of being pitched to implementation ensuring this is carried out efficiently and effectively.
To work collaboratively with the National Accounts team in the engagement with customers; ensuring all Direct Award opportunities within the Public Sector Enterprise space are developed and driven across government high value customers to maximise our opportunity of securing the future relationship; profit and growth within a customer account.
To be responsible for maintaining accurate customer profile records of all activity that could contribute to the government strategic accounts team securing an insitu, Direct Award or Tender through having up to date information, knowledge and insights recorded.
To be responsible for ensuring where an opportunity arises within an existing contract a direct award is implemented the customer is assigned the correct levels of Technical Assistance, Pre-Sales Support and Pricing to ensure they receive a positive experience through effective support and service being provided.
To be responsible for maintaining accurate Sales Forecast and pipeline data to enable the Ricoh Management Team to effectively track sales against budget.
To be responsible for using the companies CRM system to record and demonstrate sales related activity and opportunity generation to ensure monthly and weekly activity can be reviewed.
To manage the OSB opportunity Pipeline and report accurately back to management in order to help with decision making around our strategy, focus and prioritization of activity that needs to be carried out in order to maximise opportunities, drive growth with the greatest return on investment.
To be responsible for targeting high value accounts in Health Universities and Councils and identifying opportunities to drive forward Direct Awardsto ultimately avoid where possible a customer going to tender.
To be responsible for interacting and building positive relationships with our high value customers working in alignment with the rest of the National Accounts team and ensuring Ricoh's brand is presented exceptionally helping to position Ricoh in a strongly for future business within customer accounts.
To work with the customer aligned with the national accounts to team to understand their business requirements and work strategically to support and enable their longer term vision through tailored Ricoh offerings via a direct award which encompass and fit together the customer requirements and Ricoh's portfolio of products and services.
You will ideally have
Understanding of a procurement Process in relation to direct awards
Public Sector Sales Experience
Experience of driving and managing direct awards.
Extensive experience and knowledge of all Government Frameworks
Experience in other lines of business within Ricoh's portfolio of services and products
Proven presentation experience
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products such as word and excel
Proven experience in Account Management
Confident approach to selling
Time management and planning skills
Focused on achieving targets
Self-Motivated and flexible team worker able to work under pressure
Good numeracy skills with commercial acumen
Experience of following internal process and completing company required updating and management of CRM systems
Proactive approach
