Medical Receptionist

In this vital role, you'll be at the heart of our patient experience, ensuring every interaction -- whether in person, by phone, or through correspondence -- is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a
confidential, timely, and effective
response to incoming phone calls -- including booking appointments, arranging home visits, and handling general enquiries.
Manage and process incoming mail accurately and efficiently.
Action task messages promptly, such as contacting patients, processing medication requests, handling pathology results, and coordinating district nurse referrals.
Manage the
registration of new patients
, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Support the
movement and processing of patient information
, such as printing and preparing forms, sick notes, and letters.
Provide flexible administrative support to ensure excellence in patient care across all areas of the Practice.
Requirements
You'll have
proven customer service experience
and a
strong IT skill set
-- both are essential for this role.
You'll be able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
A
full driving licence
is essential, as the role will involve working across both our Wetherby and Bramham sites.
