Job description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Grab Lorry Driver

to support our civil engineering operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in material transport and site support across multiple projects in the South West.

Main duties will include:

Operating a grab lorry safely and efficiently on sites Loading and unloading materials such as soil, aggregates, and waste Muck away and aggregate deliveries to and from sites Working safely around excavations, plant, and site operatives Assisting with general site duties when required Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks Ensuring compliance with site safety rules and road regulations

Skills & Experience

Proven experience operating grab lorries Good understanding of safe loading, lifting, and transport procedures Strong awareness of health & safety on construction sites Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Good communication skills Mechanical awareness to identify basic vehicle issues

Qualifications

We would like to hear from candidates who hold the following, although training can be provided for the right applicant:

Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence HIAB / Grab Crane Certificate CPC Qualification Digital Tachograph Card
