Grab Operator Scrap 360
Job Description
We are looking for a competent 360 Grab Operator to join our team at Broxburn depot on a permanent basis, the applicant must be capable in all aspects of the role which will include the following:
- Loading/Unloading ships, trucks, containers, and other forms of vehicle.
- Feeding METSO Shredder Plant
- Operation of LEFORT Shear
- General maintenance of the plant they operate.
- Inspecting of metal scrap materials delivered.
- Communication via radios.
- Good awareness of health and safety on site.
- Good time keeping.
Experience in the scrap or waste recycling industries and scrap metals knowledge would be a great advantage.
Hourly pay rate on offer depends on candidate experience and skills
.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday
Experience:
Grab Attachment: 1 year (preferred) 360 wheeled excavator: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
CPCS (preferred)
Work Location: In person
