Grade: Grade 2



Salary: 27,952.47 per annum



Hours: 37.5 hours per week



Shift Pattern: Week 1- 7am to 3pm, Week 2- 3pm to 11pm and Week 3- 11pm to 7am

Main Tasks & Responsibilities are:-



Operate machinery, equipment to deliver and produce quality parts to achieve area output targets within the Accessory department.

Ensure manual load and unload activities are carried out

Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and carried out at all times.

All machine and working areas are maintained to the correct housekeeping standards (Implementation of 5S)

Strict adherence to Standard operating Procedures (SOP's).

Ensure strict adherence to the Quality Policies and Procedures, ensuring optimum Quality Standards.

Flexibility required to adapt to the dynamic nature of business needs to imminent change

All documentation is completed correctly and accurately in accordance with company procedure.

To setup machines in accordance with Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)

Ensure Quality Standards by conducting First & Last off checks and subsequent In Process Checks

Ensure all equipment is of a satisfactory standard and any issues are escalated appropriately.

To support the Working Team Leader in the operation of the department, to actively participate in improvement initiatives and demonstrate proactivity in the prevention of issues in their infancy.

Strict Production Adherence is to be followed at all times

A proactive approach to safety, with the confidence to challenge and be challenged. A team player who contributes ideas and makes decisions in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving business demands.
