Duties
Conduct comprehensive acoustic assessments and measurements in various settings, including buildings, outdoor environments, and industrial sites.
Analyse sound data using specialised software to evaluate noise levels and identify potential issues.
Develop effective acoustic solutions tailored to client needs, including soundproofing, noise control measures, and vibration isolation strategies.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and technical specifications for clients and project teams.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate acoustic considerations into design processes.
Stay informed of the latest developments in acoustics technology and industry standards to ensure best practices are maintained.
Qualifications
A degree in Acoustics.
Proven experience or internship within acoustic consultancy or related sectors is desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and preparing technical documentation.
