Assistant Development Manager

to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their development career who's eager to learn, grow, and contribute to exciting, high-profile projects.

About the Role



As a Graduate Assistant Development Manager, you'll support our Development Manager and wider team across all stages of the development process - from site acquisition and planning to delivery and disposal.

You'll also have opportunities to engage with our Construction Team, gaining valuable exposure to commercial and technical aspects of project execution.

This is an ideal role for someone with a strong interest in property and/or construction who is looking to build a long-term career in development.

Key Responsibilities



With guidance and support from the internal team and our professional consultants, you will:

Assist in managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams through the full development cycle: acquisition, planning, development, delivery, marketing, and disposal Coordinate planning applications, design work, and local authority negotiations Learn how to contribute to financial appraisals and profit forecasting Prepare for and attend stakeholder meetings, site visits, and presentations Play a hands-on role in driving projects forward, maintaining quality, programme, and budget
Abide by and promote company

, ensuring a safe approach is adopted at all times, both in the office and on-site

Contribute to a culture of safety, responsibility, and care throughout all aspects of project work

Experience & Qualifications



We welcome applications from graduates with a diverse range of academic backgrounds.

Your degree might be in a directly related field such as Project Management, Architecture, or Surveying -- but we also value transferable skills, so degrees in subjects like History, Geography, Economics, or similar will be equally considered.

In addition to a degree, successful candidates will have:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general IT literacy Good numerical and analytical skills UK Driving Licence (or commitment to obtain one)
