Would you like to help us develop and grow the UWE Futures Programme?
The College of Business and Law are recruiting to a new Graduate Assistant role to work on supporting UWE Futures and a range of other EDI projects connected to our Access and Participation Plan. UWE Futures is a positive action programme which works with local companies around Bristol to provide work experience opportunities for students from Global Majority backgrounds, helping students to develop skills and experience and achieve successful outcomes at university and beyond.
You will need to have been part of the UWE Futures programme yourself, and have completed a UWE Undergraduate degree. You will provide administrative, marketing and data management support for the UWE Futures programme and the College's Access and Participation Plan (APP) and associated EDI projects. You will work with College staff and the EDI Projects team to launch, market and co-ordinate the UWE Futures 2025/26 programme and liaise with programme stakeholders. You will also support the College in student-related aspects of the College APP, working with colleagues and stakeholders to produce communications for use on social media and other channels.
As well as your experience from participating in UWE Futures yourself, you will have an interest in engaging with our diverse community of students and staff through digital content and in person events and discussions. You will have some experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content, and an interest in evaluation and analysing data to assess the effectiveness of our campaigns and engagement.
