Base Salary: 25,000-28,000 depending on experience, Year 1 OTE 29,000-50,000



Global Insight Conferences has been producing high-quality business events for over 15 years. Our fun and friendly office is based on London's Southbank, ideally located between London Bridge and London Waterloo stations.

Due to continued growth, we now have two vacancies for Graduate Business Development Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious graduates to launch a commercial career in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

About the Role


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a growing company. You will be engaging with senior decision makers both over the phone and face-to-face, so confidence and professionalism are key.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys interacting with people and going the extra mile for clients. If you are goal-oriented, hardworking and excited by the opportunity to build relationships and generate new business, you will have the chance to earn high levels of commission.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage senior executives in professional conversations over the telephone.

Key Responsibilities



Research new topics, industries and leads

Identify key sectors and sales opportunities

Manage and develop relationships with existing clients

Build and maintain a sales database

Write bespoke and engaging email communications

Contribute to marketing and copywriting activities

Make outbound calls to new sales leads

Develop tailored sponsorship packages

Attend client meetings

Support and manage sponsor relationships during live conferences, ensuring client expectations are exceeded

Requirements



Professional, calm, courteous and friendly manner

Commercial mindset with determination to succeed

Excellent attention to detail; experience proofreading is an advantage

Proactive attitude and positive, can-do approach

Confident using LinkedIn, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Maturity, versatility and strong problem-solving skills

Self-motivated with the initiative to drive results
