Control & Protection Software Design Engineer

Please note this role is direct entry into the department and not on a graduate rotation scheme.

Please note this position if of a hybrid nature (2/3 days working out of our central Glasgow office). Please also note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position (including student visa).

How you'll make an impact

Design, maintain, test, integrate, verify, and deploy HVDC control & protection application functions. Document processes and conduct customer training. Travel internationally for assignments.

Your background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical area. Experience with HVDC projects and control system design/testing. Strong interest in industrial application development and programming. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Experience in digital technology, signal processing, control system design, and power system industry.
