Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate individuals, and a genuine interest in fostering a positive sporting environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Educate cricketers on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport. Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that each athlete receives appropriate guidance and support. Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes. Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all athletes. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote overall programme success. The role will be a 60% coaching and 40% business development and administration. You will need to be available to work weekends during term time.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of the relevant sport's techniques and strategies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and inspire athletes effectively. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, events, and athlete progress. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a supportive environment for athletes. A passion for sports and commitment to athlete development is essential. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 23,000.00-25,000.00 per year
