Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Crypto / Blockchain Trainee to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about blockchain technology and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of blockchain development and implementation, working closely with experienced professionals in the field.

Duties

Assist in the design and development of blockchain solutions, contributing to system architecture and design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology with existing systems. Participate in the development of smart contracts and decentralised applications (dApps). Conduct research on emerging blockchain technologies and trends, providing insights to enhance project outcomes. Support system administration tasks, including maintaining operating systems and managing databases. Engage in debugging processes and troubleshoot issues related to blockchain implementations. Contribute to continuous integration efforts by utilising tools such as Git and Jenkins. Help document system designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Experience

The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of various technical skills, including but not limited to:

Computer networking principles and practices Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, Ruby on Rails, C++, and Bash (Unix shell) Experience with databases like SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL Knowledge of system architecture concepts including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices Understanding of information security principles and practices Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and ESXi Basic understanding of DevOps practices including continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) Awareness of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DHCP, DNS Exposure to systems engineering concepts and software development life cycle (SDLC)
