MDE Machinery require a Graduate Design Engineer.

We are looking for an innovative, creative and practically minded Graduate Design Engineer with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be joining an experienced and committed team in a company focused on innovation and growth.

Job description:

3D Modelling in (Solidworks)

Providing production with detailed engineering drawings

Amending drawings for product changes

Sourcing materials and parts

Maintain technical specifications and user documentation

Designing new product concepts

Completing product ranges

Criteria required:

A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 1 years related design /development work experience Experience and capability with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and MS Teams At least 1 years' experience in heavy engineering 2D and 3D modelling experience (AutoCAD / Solid works) Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes Excellent time management and communication skills Excellent people skills A team player with an honest, dependable and supportive nature A can-do attitude

Desirable Criteria

Hands on work experience Hydraulic system knowledge Sheet metal work
