About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Graduate Design Engineer

to join our growing solar energy team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in

Electrical Engineering

to develop hands-on experience in the design and implementation of residential solar systems across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Design and propose tailored solar energy system solutions for residential clients using software tools such as

Pylon

and other specialized applications. Support and oversee the full installation process, including

roof solar panel layout

,

electrical wiring

,

battery and inverter setup

, and

grid connection

. Coordinate with installers and project teams to ensure technical accuracy, safety compliance, and timely project delivery. Develop and maintain comprehensive

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

for installation and maintenance workflows. Provide technical input and continuous improvement suggestions for system design and project execution.

Requirements

Fluent in Chinese

(both written and spoken).

IELTS 6.5 or above

, or equivalent English proficiency (UK nationals exempt).

UK degree

, preferably a

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering

or a related discipline. Eligible for or currently holding a

Post-Study Work (PSW)

visa. Strong understanding of electrical systems and willingness to pursue a

UK electrician qualification

.
