We are a London and Hampshire based B Corp certified furniture company designing and manufacturing commercial furniture within the UK. We are currently a team of 60 with ambitious growth plans. An ever-evolving brand, we have ambitious plans and want to expand our design team with a Product Engineer who shares our principles and who. will work closely with the design, engineering and production teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and proactive individual to join our team. The role bridges the areas of product development and enterprise resource planning (ERP) offering an opportunity to be pivotal in the development of our products and the realisation of those products through operational and material engineering.
Role Overview
You'll work closely with our team of young and enthusiastic engineers, designers and makers. You will be key in delivering the product manufacturing data to the shop floor using our ERP system (Epicor Kinetic).
Key elements of the role include but are not limited to:-
Supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainably designed furniture products.
Assist in creating and maintaining detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings.
Developing engineering methods using our ERP system and Cadlink design integration software
Continuous development of our broad and diverse product portfolio
Contribute to creating ideas that promote continuous improvements in our design and operational systems
Education & Skills:
A degree in Product Design/Engineering, or similar with at least 1 year of professional experience
Experience or familiarity with Solid Works CAD
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of the principles of ERP software
A software curious enthusiast
An interest in manufacturing, product development, and engineering systems.
Understanding of modern manufacturing methods.
