Econometric Analyst

Our team helps clients measure the marketing effectiveness or ROI of their advertising investment, as well as advising on pricing strategy, brand development and other commercial topics.

The Analyst role is suitable for people with a quantitative background in statistics, economics, operational research, finance, or data science. Experience building econometric or MMM models is advantageous but not essential. We are interviewing for people across three grades including Graduate Analyst, Analyst and Senior Analyst.

The job will give you hands-on experience in econometric modelling and data manipulation using Excel and R / tidyverse. This role will put you on a client facing career track in consultancy but will also give you opportunity to hone your analytic and coding skills with the support of our data science team.

Key Responsibilities





Delivering outstanding analytical projects for our customers based upon excellent data exploration, econometric analysis, and interpretation. Automate and simplify data processing using existing tools and scripting tasks in R / tidyverse. Create concise, insightful customer communications (presentations, documentations etc) Continually accumulate and develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and sector expertise. Take responsibility for keeping tasks on deadline and managing client stakeholders. Provide clarity in communicating results to clients both verbally and using Powerpoint

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise





At least a 2.1 in a relevant quantitative degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, Econometrics or Data Science). Coding skills in either R or Python. The preferred language at Ebiquity is R. Competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Be able to communicate in a professional environment. Intellectually curious with an open mind, a self-starter, genuinely interested in data. A team player, happy working in small groups Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
