Job Purpose:

At VA Technology we work in close partnership with our customers to solve complex engineering challenges, by using the ingenuity of our people in the application of advanced control techniques. Our Graduate Engineering positions provide a challenging opportunity in the commissioning of automated systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Detailed design and development of Automation Systems and Equipment (existing product range).

Concept and detailed design of new Automation Control Systems and Equipment. Detailed design of robotic / computer / control system interfacing. Systems engineering of electro mechanical equipment. Robot and control system programming and configuration. Creation of technical specifications / documentation for the selection and development of equipment. Provide internal technical product support.

Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated control systems design experience. Demonstrated CAD experience; 2D and 3D. Ability to effectively present design solutions. Self disciplined approach to achieve engineering deadlines and objectives. Problem solving, both as part of a team and individually. Strong written communication skills. Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status Willing to travel throughout the UK & overseas if needed

Qualifications:

B.Eng / M.Eng Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic degree qualification preferred although HND/HNC with additional experience will be considered with significant controls experience will be considered

Pay: 32,000.00-35,000.00 per year
