The Role
We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Design Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Civil or Mechanical Engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves a blend of design engineering and CNC programming, supporting the development of bespoke solutions from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
Work within the design team to produce 2D and 3D CAD models for manufacture.
Translate designs into CNC machine programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to optimise designs for manufacturability.
Assist in the continuous improvement of design and production processes.
Support project delivery from initial concept through to final product.
Ensure all work complies with relevant quality, safety, and engineering standards.
About You
Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Strong interest in design for manufacture and engineering problem-solving.
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Some knowledge of CNC machining and/or programming (training provided if needed).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
