Job Description

As a Graduate Engineer in the Network Innovation Team at Nortech you will be working alongside talented technology enthusiasts who design and support systems shaping the future of the UK's low carbon power network. You will be part of the team delivering high-profile innovation projects demonstrating energy storage technologies, electric vehicle control systems and active network management of low carbon technologies.

The role

The way the world generates and uses electricity is changing fast. With governments setting ambitious targets for the reduction of CO2 emissions, wind turbines, solar panels and electric vehicles are fast becoming part of everyday life.

We develop and use the latest technology to address these challenges.

Within this role you will be given the opportunity to use what you have learnt so far and to push yourself even further. Technical responsibilities will include involvement with system architecture, equipment specification and procurement, product development, witness testing, data analysis and application support.

About you

What we're looking for - as many of the following as possible

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM subject at 2:1 or above

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Excellent organisational skills

- A full UK driving licence

Location

You will be based in our modern offices in Evesham (WR11 1GN) with some national UK travel to meet with customers.

You must have the right to work in the UK.
