As a Graduate Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial management of those projects - making sure we deliver on budget, with transparency and value for money.
Location
This role will be based in the Birmingham region, within our Regional Finance team. Flexibility to travel across offices and project sites in the region will be required as part of your development.
What you'll be doing
As a Graduate Finance Analyst, you'll rotate across key areas of our business finance functions to build a broad understanding of financial management in a construction environment.
With the support of experienced colleagues, you'll:
Assist in preparing management accounts, forecasts, and project financial reports
Support the monitoring of project costs, revenues and cashflow against budgets
Work with project teams to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance
Help prepare monthly variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
Contribute to tender and bid support by reviewing cost plans and pricing assumptions
Gain experience with financial systems and ERP software used across the business
Develop commercial awareness by understanding the financial drivers of construction projects
Build relationships with finance, project, commercial and operational teams

What we're looking for
We want to hear from people who are passionate about finance and the built environment. You'll bring:
A degree (or expected in 2026) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline (2:1 or above)
A full UK driving licence (or working towards by the time you start)
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a logical and detail-oriented approach
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm to learn and take on responsibility
Previous placement or finance-related experience (desirable but not essential)
