Graduate Finance Analyst

to join our team on our Graduate Scheme and grow alongside our fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation.

The Role

As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our day-to-day financial operations. You'll gain hands-on experience across core areas of finance including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance within a fast-paced, data-driven company.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure data is entered into accounting systems correctly. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities with the wider finance team. Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Contribute to financial analysis tasks including cost tracking, revenue analysis, and variance reporting. Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings. Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, data, compliance) to support cross-functional finance needs. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and increase operational efficiency. Take part in mentorship, training sessions, and finance-specific development workshops as part of the Graduate Scheme, including industry qualifications - ACCA or CIMA.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) or financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets). Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology. Exposure to finance within a digital, marketing, or fast-paced business is a plus.

About You:

A recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. Keen interest in financial operations, analysis, and commercial decision-making. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Organised and able to prioritise tasks while meeting deadlines. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and finance systems. A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. No ego - just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a drive to contribute.
