The role will be part of the group's finance team, providing support to the finance business partner and financial control teams.

Provide analysis & commentary on weekly and monthly KPI reports for the group Post accruals, prepayments and other journals as part of the monthly management accounts process Support the finance business partners in monthly and quarterly work in progress review, including preparation of monthly journal and detailed analysis of unusual movements Assist in preparing financial reports, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts Complete cost analysis for offices, reviewing P&Ls, investigating variances and liaising with finance business partners. Support month-end and year-end closing activities Help maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Perform financial analysis to support key business decisions Support project work by analysing financial data to identify trends and patterns and provide insights to management.

What are we looking for?

Degree with a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Maths, or Business Management or has equivalent experience Strong Excel skills, including VLookups and Pivot Tables Excellent communication skills High attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good time management and organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proactive, with a willingness to learn and take initiative A basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles is desirable Must have the right to work in the UK
