About the Role
CHPK Fire Engineering is growing its Fire Engineering capability and is seeking a motivated
Graduate Fire Engineer
to join the team. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an ambitious individual to begin their career in a fast-paced, technically driven environment where your work contributes directly to creating safer buildings and communities.
You'll work closely with experienced fire engineers, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects. This is the
first graduate role within the business
, giving the successful candidate the chance to grow and develop alongside an expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior fire engineers in developing and reviewing fire safety strategies.
Support the preparation of fire engineering documentation, reports, and technical submissions.
Gain exposure to fire modelling, evacuation analysis, and fire safety systems.
Assist with site inspections, coordination meetings, and client engagement.
Stay up to date with relevant fire safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
Contribute to tender proposals and project bids.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) in Fire, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
A genuine interest in fire safety, risk management, and building safety.
Eligibility to work in the UK and attend the London office at least 3 days per week.
Desirable:
Internship or relevant experience in fire safety or building services.
Knowledge of fire safety standards, legislation, or modelling software.
