Job Description

A graduate geologist/geo-environmental engineer with less than 2 to 3 years experience is required in our busy environmental and geotechnical office in Brierley Hill. Applicants would be expected to have a minimum Degree in Geology/Environmental Sciences (or related geological discipline).

Duties will include:

- Site supervision of soils and rock drilling (boreholes)

- Logging soil and rock samples to British Standards

- Trial pitting

- Supervision of mining investigations and consolidation works

- Gas and groundwater monitoring

- Site inspections

- Office based Phase I Desk Studies

- All other office and site based duties that may be required in a busy office

The role will require good written skills, a flexible approach and willingness to learn and carry out other tasks related to a busy geo-environmental consultancy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,004.00 per year
