Graduate / Junior PLC Software Engineer
Skill Requirements:
Experience in software development
HND or above in a Computing/Engineering related subject
Based in a commutable distance of Norton, Worcestershire
Willing to travel onsite to customers both UK and abroad
Desirable Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of IEC 61131-3 programming languages
Strong understanding of Visual Basic programming
Experience in designing graphical user interfaces.
Experience using B&R automation studio is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Work in a team of engineers to develop high quality PLC software to control food manufacturing machinery
Production and maintenance of requirements, design, test and user documentation
System and factory testing,
Customer site-based installation and commissioning
Liaising with the Project Manager to deliver high-quality, structured software within agreed timeframes.
Provide remote and onsite customer support for existing and historic machines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
