We are seeking a proactive and sociable candidate to fill a gap within our agricultural land drainage and soil survey teams. The work will include assisting with carrying out land drainage/soil surveys on agricultural land, drawing up designs, reports and plans and attending meetings with clients, farmers and land agents.
The successful candidate would be based from a combination of our Escrick office and Beverley office once opened later this year.
You will be working on a variety of interesting projects including offshore wind farms, carbon capture pipelines and various other Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPS).
Some experience of agriculture, landowner liaison and/or surveying preferred, but full training will be supplied.
Requirements
- Knowledge and interest in farming and agricultural practices
- Ability to work outside and travel to projects (own vehicle)
- CAD and/or GIS experience (not essential)
- Ability to work as part of a small team and independently
- Good IT skills (Microsoft etc.)

Land Drainage Consultancy Ltd is a small environmental consultancy based in Yorkshire but working throughout the UK and Ireland. We specialise in agricultural land drainage and soils matters relating to construction in the countryside. Our projects include offshore windfarms, hydrogen pipelines, carbon capture pipelines, nuclear power stations, highways, railways etc.
As a member of the LDC team, you would be working within a growing business alongside a competent and friendly team of consultants, surveyors and technicians. You will have the opportunity to travel the UK and work on a variety of interesting nationally significant infrastructure projects.
