Management Trainee/Intern
to assist with the day-to-day running of the centre. This role is ideal for a current university student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on management experience, with the potential to increase hours or transition into a full-time role upon graduation as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Tutoring:
Provide high-quality tuition to students in a range of subjects.
Operations Management:
Assist in ensuring the smooth daily running of the tuition centre, maintaining efficiency and organisation.
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with parents and students, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
Lead Generation & Marketing:
Support outreach efforts, including distributing flyers, visiting schools, and engaging with parents to promote the centre.
Budgeting & Targets:
Assist in tracking performance against targets and contribute to managing the centre's budget.
Quality Assurance:
Help maintain high tutoring standards and ensure a welcoming, productive learning environment.
Tutor Support & Coordination:
Work with tutors to ensure effective lesson delivery and student progress.
Sales & Enrolment Process:
Assist in managing the sales funnel, from trial lessons to enrolment follow-ups.
Requirements:
Currently studying at university (or recently graduated), ideally in education, business, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience in tutoring or education is desirable but not essential.
A proactive attitude, particularly in engaging with the community.
Willingness to work weekday evenings and weekends.
Interest in business growth and management.
Candidates must comply with safer recruitment processes, including providing references and undergoing an enhanced DBS check, in line with our Ofsted registration.
Working Hours & Progression:
Initial commitment of
14 to 18 hours per week
, including weekday evenings and weekends.
Opportunity to
increase hours
as the centre grows, with a view to full-time employment post-graduation.
The advertised salary is based on a 40-hour work week, so pay will be
pro-rated
accordingly.
