We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of manufacturing, from design to production. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineering team to drive process improvements, support digitalisation projects, and contribute to our ongoing commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
CAD/CAM:
Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software to create and modify designs for our rock breaking tools.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity in our manufacturing operations.
Machine Operation:
Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Digitalisation Projects:
Participate in digitalisation initiatives aimed at integrating advanced technologies into our manufacturing processes to improve data management, automation, and overall operational effectiveness.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design changes, process improvements, and project progress.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software. Ideally Autodesk & EdgeCAM although other packages are also beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Apprentice-trained and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
