The Graduate Marketing Assistant supports the marketing function by providing day-to-day assistance across digital, brand, and campaign activities. Working closely with the Marketing Team, this role helps deliver marketing initiatives efficiently while gaining practical experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines.
This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for a marketing graduate looking to build a strong foundation in both traditional and digital marketing within a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate would provide general administrative support to the Marketing Coordinator and Digital Marketing Web Executive to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Support
Assist with the coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
Help prepare marketing materials for campaigns, events, and promotions in line with brand guidelines.
Monitor online pricing to ensure it stays competitive.
Contribute to the planning and attendance of events.
Digital & Website Support
Update website content via the CMS, including product information, blogs and landing pages.
Support the Marketing Coordinator with basic SEO activities such as keyword research, content optimisation, performance tracking and the implementation of this to the website.
Assist with monitoring website performance and compiling reports using analytics tools.
Support the Digital Marketing & Website Executive with the research and onboarding of new products to the website.
Enhance customer satisfaction via optimising current tools and exploring new initiatives to support loyalty and satisfaction.
Content & Social Media
Assist in creating written and visual content for digital channels including website, blogs, email and social media.
Support the planning and scheduling of social media content to increase engagement and reach.
Assist with basic video coordination and content preparation for digital platforms.
Brand & Supplier Support
Support supplier brand management activities, ensuring marketing materials align with agreed brand guidelines.
Assist with the coordination of branded materials, promotional items, uniforms and gifting for staff and customers.
Maintain accurate and consistent brand representation across digital and offline channels.
Assist with supplier marketing budgets, ensuring activities are organised and performance is monitored.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable working with digital tools and learning new systems
Enthusiastic, proactive and willing to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word and Excel)
Desirable
Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media or email marketing
Experience using CMS platforms, social media scheduling tools or analytics software (e.g. GA4)
Creative skills such as copywriting or basic design and experience with design tools such as Photoshop or Canva
