Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineering graduate to join FeTu and support our continued expansion. This role offers hands-on involvement in cutting-edge projects and exposure to advanced simulation tools.

About the Role:

You will work across multiple aspects of design engineering, including concept development, testing, and project coordination, while gaining experience in advanced simulation and analysis techniques.

In addition to fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in CAD software (such as Inventor or Solidworks) for component and system design. The role also involves working with test rigs, including an understanding of sensors, actuators, and data acquisition systems to validate designs and ensure performance.

A key part of this position includes using

CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

tools to model and optimise system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Perform simulations and analysis focused on fluid flow, heat transfer, and energy efficiency. Utilise

CFD

software to model and optimise designs. Support testing and validation activities, including working with test rigs, sensors, and actuators to gather and interpret data. Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Desired Attributes:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Familiarity with CFD tools and simulation methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) for design and modelling. Basic knowledge of test rigs, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems (sensors and actuators). Enthusiasm for learning advanced simulation tools and contributing to innovative projects. A valid driving licence and own transport are essential due to occasional travel requirements.

Why Join Us?

This position offers an incredible opportunity to develop your technical skills in a dynamic environment, working on projects that push the boundaries of engineering innovation.
